It’s Fall Time (well everywhere else in the US), and that means FUN fundraiser’s by all Johnny Boy’s favorite art organizations. The upcoming fundraiser that I am quivering in excitement for is the Locust Projects Annual Smash & Grab on Saturday, October 24 from 6:30-9:30pm. The auction starts promptly at 7:30pm. You can read how it works HERE, but basically you buy a ticket and are GUARANTEED a piece of artwork from international, national, and local artists.
Discounted Smash & Grab raffle tickets are now available exclusively to Locust Projects’ Friends with Benefits level members and above until September 15 by contacting info@locustprojects.org or 305-576-8570. The event is ALWAYS sold out, so you should become a member of Locust Projects HERE and get your raffle ticket.
Each Artwork raffle ticket (admits two people) is $495 for Locust Projects Friends with Benefits members and above (price will increase to $525 after September 15). Then after September 15th, the general public tickets are $595 (subject to availability). If you would like to check it out for the first time without getting a raffle ticket, you can purchase admission tickets for $50 HERE.
They haven’t released the full catalog of pieces yet, but you can find previews of the art pieces on instagram HERE or with the hashtag #60daysofsmashandgrab. The PREVIEW day to scope out the artwork is Friday, October 16th from 6:30-8:30pm.
