I know you all are planning to go to the MAM Friendraiser tomorrow, but I was just alerted to another MUST GO TO Art Opening at Locust Projects in the Design District.  I recently fell in love with Locust again as their mission is to truly support our art community, not just by promoting artists, but by engaging and featuring our local talent for the past 14 years.

Lab Exhibition opens tomorrow from 7pm - 10pm at 3852 North Miami Avenue, featuring South Florida high school students for a Collaborative Summer Project under the direction of Monica Lopez de Victoria, one half of my favorite TM Sisters.  The students, currently attending American Senior High, Design and Architecture Senior High, Dr. Michael M. Krop High, Gulliver Academy, Hialeah High School and New World School of the Arts, were selected from an open call by a committee of local art professionals.

To plan your Saturday night, I suggest stopping by Lab Exhibition between 7pm - 830pm, then head to the MAM Friendraiser from 9pm - 1030pm.  Here's to an Artful Saturday and supporting our local young artists.
