So Johnny Boy's lease is up and it's time for a brand spanking new car. I have narrowed it down to either the 2013 Ford Fusion or the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. Both have been redesigned in the past year, and the technology on both are super cool.
Let's start with the VW Beetle. I love the new elongated body, according to VW, it makes the Beetle more masculine. Johnny Boy thinks its a bisexual car now instead of super gay. The interior is the same with some updated options like the touchscreen navigation system, which I LOOOOVE! I get lost all the time in Miami...and yes my phone has google maps but I want someone to tell me where i'm going 🙂 I am a previous VW Beetle driver also, having owned a Beige on Beige VW Beetle convertible a couple of years ago...this has always been my dream car.
Now on to the Ford Fusion. The 2013 model comes completely redesigned, mimicking a cross between an Aston Martin and a Mercedes-Benz...Johnny Boy loooves this look. The technology loaded in this baby is insane, from the navigation system, to the Active Park Assist which helps you parallel park and the Lane-Keeping System, which has the ability to let you know when your swerving from your lane (no this is not for you drunk drivers, please drive responsibly). Additionally it has the eco boost engine which saves gas and Repreve cloth seats (a fiber using 100% recyclable materials) to be more environmentally conscious.
Decisions...Decisions...what is Johnny Boy to do? Both cars are relatively the same price...Both cars offer a hybrid option...Do I go American or German?

haha, OMG, i thought i was the only person that used the word FUNNEST 🙂 i know i’m torn, i got sucked into looking at BMW’s also now, but i feel as though i need to be a pimp daddy baller to look normal in a BMW
I’d prob go with the Fusion – Ford is finally making some sweet cards, like the new Focus. And their tech is Microsoft driven, so it’s pretty awesome.
I dig VW a lot too but not a fan of the new Beetle. If you go German, the new Passat is pretty sweet, and has a ton of techy stuff like the Fusion
The new Fusion is super nice looking, but Hertz will order 50,000 of them and within 6 months it will fill the streets of Miami with tourists. The new Beetle has a really nice presence on the street.Squatty, Wide and def more masculine than before….I would go with the Beetle !!
Can someone deliver the ford fusion to my house 2 day grey color is nice n can u guys flip the bill now that sounds sooo good today have errands to run n its hot again I no whine whiner? Ill b nice k rsvpasapvip
