Love...the artwork in my dining area.  My most recent purchase from Gallery Diet in Miami's Wynwood District is Clifford Owens "Text Pieces" (left hand side).  I never understood text art, or to say it more correctly, i never considered it art until I stumbled upon this jewel and Nina Johnson, the director explained the work and art.  I always bought colorful sculptures or intricate pieces, believing that the value in art was always subject to the viewer.  The "Text Pieces" are a collection of "text messages" sent between him and friends during a period of his divorce, whimsical and daring they are.
