One of Johnny Boy's favorite foundations is the National YoungArts, founded by Miami's very own Lin and Ted Arison (obviously looove her name).  YoungArts supports the next generation of creative minds and allows them access to scholarships and mentorships by the likes of Plácido Domingo, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Martin Scorsese, and Robert Redford.  They have honored over 16,000 young artists since 1981, in over nine disciplines including dance, cinematic arts, theater, writing, and music.

Every January, they hold YoungArts week, which culminates in the first important gala of the year for Miamians.  This year, it will be held from Monday, January 7th - Saturday, January 12th.  Johnny Boy only hopes the new campus (image below), the iconic Bacardi Building redesigned by Frank Gehry, will be ready for next year's YoungArts week.
