If you haven't been to the previous two Inventory shows during Art Basel Miami Beach, curated by the talented and lovely Thais Fontenelle, then you MUST go to the new show, titled Inventory Archive at their new permanent space. Launched in 2011 to critical acclaim, Fontenelle's purpose was to curate an ongoing design exhibition that stimulated conversation about design and its role in everyday life. All of the objects in each show were selected because of their ability to inspire.
For Inventory Archive, she has brought back designers such as LMNOQ, Mr. O, photographer Paul Clemence, the green thumbed Paloma Teppa, the brains behind Plant the Future and uber talented and handsome Luis Pons, in which his "Rain Lamp" will be featured. Mark your calendars for the opening reception this Wednesday, October 17th from 6PM - 9PM at the Security Building downtown at 177 NE 1st Avenue.
