Who hasn't wanted to go to the Hole-in-the-Donut region of the Everglades, especially with that name? Well here is your chance to go with Miami-based artist Christy Gast in conjunction with her solo exhibition Inholdings, currently on view at Locust Projects.
The tour will take place this Saturday, April 5th from noon - 6pm. It begins at Locust Projects (3852 North Miami Avenue), where you will have a private chat with Gast about her new exhibition, including a new single channel video (video still above) and two life-size replicas of Nike Hercules Missiles. Then you will board an air conditioned motor coach for a private tour of abandoned nuclear missle base. This one-of-a-kind tour offers a box lunch specifically tailored with an artistic/culinary slant from Whole Foods, which will be enjoyed at Long Pine Key. The trip will last about 6 hours round trip.
Seating is very limited! You must purchase a ticket to reserve a seat.
