Johnny Boy can’t believe it’s been 3 years since my favorite mobile bookstore, Bookleggers Library, was created by one of my fave Miamian’s, Nathaniel. If you’re not familiar with it, he essentially goes around once a month to different locations around Miami and gives away free books to the public. There are some permanent locations throughout Miami also that you can grab a great book to read. If you haven’t checked it out yet, then what better day then this Saturday, September 26th from 5pm – 10pm in Wynwood at Boxelder Craft Beer Market at 2825 NW 2nd Avenue for the Anniversary Party. $3 Beer and Bites is a no brainer for the weekend.
They do have some simple rules to keep this a community driven initiative:
Rules:
1) Everyone gets one book for free!
2) They accept trades – a book for a book.
3) Each additional book is $2.
