So little ol’ Johnny Boy has been taking off for the summer and enjoying doing nothing 🙂 I’ll be back in full force in the fall time, but in the meanwhile, I had to update my readers about this FAB event happening this Wednesday, July 23rd at 8PM at the new sports bar in the Design District, Benchwarmers Food & Spirits. I first went to Benchwarmers cause it’s in my hood (and to try their chicken wings), and became delightfully obsessed with the Caribbean Jerk. As many of you know, I have probably eaten wings in every restaurant that offers them around the world, so to have a bar that not only has a great happy hour with Tito’s Vodka and serve a 20 piece bucket of chicken wings, it makes living in Miami that much better!

Well, now onto the event, Benchwarmers is holding a chicken wing eating contest every last Wed of the month, starting this month and continuing into December, where all the winners will compete for a grand prize.  There is a $5 entry fee, but the prizes are FAB:

1st Place:  $200 Cash

2nd Place:  $75 Cash

3rd Place:  $20 Bar Tab

I suggest abstaining from eating on Wed, going to happy hour around 6pm to get your buzz on, then entering the contest to get that moolah 🙂
