Tracey Emin

It's officially that time of year, when every art and design aficionado, and their hanger-ons start putting together their schedules to prepare for the circus that is Art Basel Miami Beach.  The proper name now is Art Basel in Miami Beach, but Johnny Boy doesn't like that or understand why it was changed, so I'm going to stick with the old school name.  This also means my ABMB Gossip postings are back, YAY!  Check back every Friday for new gossip, snide comments, and everything in between!!!  Feel free to contact moi at hello@iamjohnnyboy.com with any gossip, sightings, or just images of hot men 🙂I'm kicking it off this year with a mix of art and fashion.

Gossip #1:  Whom better to kick it off with then the uber talented artist Tracey Emin. The MOCA is devoting their Art Basel opening to my favorite neon-centric artist, always the party to be at the night before the Vernissage.  Johnny Boy hears they are planning to have a super exclusive VIP dinner at the Soho Beach House honoring Ms. Emin after their opening...one wonders what goodies are in store for this dinner.

Gossip #2:  The first MUST ATTEND fashion event is Berluti's first foray during ABMB. The luxury shoe company, turned THE menswear line to covet by the dashing Antoine Arnault, is planning a cocktail party at their recently opened shop in the Design District, followed by a private dinner at __ __ ____ __________,(HINT: It's within walking distance and the only thing that rivals the design of the building, is the artwork inside)
